Nasopure Nasal Washing System
Position, Control & Flow
The Nasopure Nasal Wash Bottle is designed to wash the nose efficiently and comfortably — the modern neti. The unique, angled neck allows a neutral head and neck position to achieve the perfect wash. No more bending or twisting the neck. The squeezable, plastic bottle provides precise control of the solution from a light rinse to a steady flush. The applicator tip allows for a tight seal with the nostril for control of pressure and flow. It washes the nasal membranes, while drawing out the sinus contents as the solution exits the opposite nostril. The 8 oz. bottle has a closable tip making nasal washing convenient for shower, over the sink use, and travel. And it’s perfect for children too.
The Nasopure Wash Salt Mixture, being pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate, comes in Swish Stix™ packets so the solution is always the perfect mix — you add water to achieve the salinity you prefer. It can be used as an isotonic or hypertonic buffered solution. See the Solution Guide below for more information about their saline mixture.
Saline Solution Guide
The Nasopure salt mixture of pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate can make two types of buffered solutions: hypertonic and isotonic.
1/2 Swish Stix
1 Swish Stix
2 Swish Stix
Nasopure salt mixture is buffered with sodium bicarbonate to balance the acidity of the saline solution for a soothing effect.
A hypertonic solution has a higher salt concentration than the fluids in the body. Scientific studies have shown a hypertonic solution has several benefits:
Thins thick secretions most effectively.
Improves the filtering mechanisms of the nose.
Removes 80% of allergens, thereby reducing allergy medication need.
Shrinks swollen membranes.
Regular use reduces the need for antihistamines and antibiotics.
Similar to ocean water and is SAFE.
Can improve both sense of smell and bad breath.
An isotonic solution has the same concentration of salt as fluids in the body. Although isotonic solutions do not have as many benefits as hypertonic solutions, many people like to begin nasal washing with a milder solution, or use isotonic solutions for frequent cleansings.
